Socio-Economic

To identify the current cultural, scientific, regulatory, market and professional factors that influence the role diagnostics play in applications of antibiotics in livestock within the UK and East Africa

Policy objective

To identify the key pathways to change and deliver recommendations on improving disease diagnostic practices and treatment decision-making through behaviour change, leading to more sustainable use of antibiotics.

Technical objective

To co-run field trials with project partners that will allow for the practical assessment of new diagnostic strategies with the aim of improving the application of veterinary medicines
